     @grey When you get a true thunderbolt cable, guard it well. We have a constant round of people pilfering them and trying to hand you a slower 5gb cable. Sure, not a big diff. for normal charging & HDDS, but you need the thunderbolt level in order to connect to monitors

     @grey I’m basically telling everyone in the family to overbuy now and set themselves up for 10 years. A 100-150W capable charging C-to-C cable will serve faithfully for all our electronics for quite some time, with the full speed calbes handling pretty much everything in the computer ecosystem past that. I’m already liking the change when I’m on the roat, cut down my cable requirements down by 2/3 and gained more reliable U/90º adapters than before. I keep hoping they’ll buy me a new ipad so I’m fully freed from lightning. I could never find a U connector that worked with their faggot chip
