   This makes no sense to me. Metal already supports GPUs with dedicated memory. This isn’t a super complex problem to be solved. Sure it adds some complexity but also increases the Mac Pro user base considerably.

   Hell you could even disable display output on the cards and people would still use them for rendering, compute and AI crap. I’d say swallow your pride and go get Nvidia/Cuda support while you are at it.

     @paul problem is that NVIDIA can be very troublesome to work with (see how often their drivers work terribly on Linux), I don’t think it’s exclusively pride going on there. Though maybe you could use GPUs through Asahi Linux on the new Mac Pro
