   "Hayao Miyazaki once said the reason his female characters appear so strong and confident is that they are first absolutely feminine in their nature. But when put into situation, they have to step out beyond their normal self. That makes them come across as a strong female."
   
   That's an interesting perspective when writing a strong female.
