   @kkarhan @alanrycroft we cut our own firewood for wintertime heat; we only cut standing dead trees that would otherwise burn in the next forest fire. We also run grid-tied, net-metered solar. Haven’t paid for electricity since we installed it.

     @alanrycroft well, #wood at least is technically fully #renewable...

     Would you rather want more fossile and mineral energy plants? Hydroelectric Powerplants??

     As hot as it is in Canada right now, I'm pretty shure Solar[thermal] power isn't working most of the year around...
