     @kuba Subreddit admins are taking part in general protest, which will cause thousands of normally public subreddits turn dark. People will start searching for their new digital houses en masse, meaning that most of the time fediverse server admins will focus on continuous scaling to keep their instances up and running.

     Not mentioning the fact that scaling equals higher running costs.
