     @deprecated_ii I will admit this is total speculation on my part, but i think the US trying to fight a big war nowadays would look more like China trying to fight the first Sino-Japanese war than anything else.
     
     Gigantic sums of money would be throw around with slogans like "Reinvigorate the arm industry", "Bring back manufacturing" and "Build back better" and almost all of it would disappear into the ether.

     @Aviz @deprecated_ii Hey they managed to make a few mausers….they weren’t great but uh…
