     @Moon @meso as said previously, there is absolutely no way they're federating with the outside. Facebook has had some level of megalomania with their Meta shit in that they want to literally own the Internet. It will be completely within their own ecosystem

     As soon as any globo-homo conglomerate/company/media entity (small businesses I give zero fucks about as long as they don't try shenanigans) joins and starts trying to build a following just spam porn, gore or nigger at them until they fuck off or become based.
     
     Don't break U.S. law and don't break your instance rules, just make it inhospitable to these inhuman reptiles.

     @mrsaturday @Moon @meso Google Plus could have worked if they stopped and didn't enforce their real names bullshit. Nobody wanted another facebook. It hilariously came in a time when people were kind of fed up with Facebook, but not necessarily about "facebook", it's your public name being a problem with pages and groups you're in, being forced to not "post" things because of family, work and co
     
     So Google came and just forced another facebook. Granted there were better privacy posting options, but that's not what people wanted
