   @thor @Hyolobrika we have Shitposters who play movies on times other than Sunday evenings US time. for example, @coolboymew often plays anime on Thursday and Saturday.

     @Hyolobrika looks like i'm gonna have to try to shift my sleep cycle for these. not that this is an inconvenience for me, but i've accidentally become a bit of an early riser with the years.

     as far as i can tell, Twitter and its nerdy cousin Mastodon have no culture for inviting people to partake in group activities. closest i've seen is people inviting you to Matrix rooms, but they're kind of similar to Mastodon itself, in that the only shared activity there is talking. there's nothing to immerse yourself in.
