     @Cleisthenes I've never worked on a farm, but whenever I've done manual labor 1-3pm is generally when you want to take a break.

     Depends on the time of year. Summer is brutal for 1-3PM, but that just means not working directly in the sun, and instead work under shade. There's always something to be done.
     
     I also have not worked a farm, but if it is anything close to how I work in my garden, it is not at all easy work .
