A lot of tards have the "if you build it, they will come" mentality when it comes to tech and that level of retardation is honestly astounding. VR/AR is a hipster trend for now and not viable longterm, especially jot for anything that would actively drive it as a standard (eg. Gaming).
Can anyone explain why paying 3.5k plus tax for nigger-goggles is preferable to justing fucking about on a 100$ smartphone? Anybody? Bueller? This isn't even touching on dev, processing, or other issues. Just cost comparison completely annihilates this gay bullshit.

@kilostere @SpurgAnon new tech is always financed by rich people who dont care about burning their money. cellphones started off as "car-phones" that had an antenna that take up half your trunk space and could only be afforded by rich assholes who wanted a flashy new gadget they could flaunt. in a decade or two the tech will be small and cheap enough to be an approachable middle class experience.
