     @aral Found the solution. The Typora license can be uninstalled so switching distros won't cause license problems.

     @aral I'm a distro hopper - currently using manjaro. Is the typora license tied to the customer or the installation (typora version, OS name and/or version, etc.)

     Just bought a license for Typora, a gorgeous markdown viewing/editing application that seamlessly renders your markdown in place as you write it.

     It’s by an independent developer and also runs on Linux.
