LS (lain@lain.com)'s status on Saturday, 03-Jun-2023 22:26:39 JST LS @Hyolobrika i don't think those two candidates for rights you mentioned are comparable at all. even the meaning of 'wrong' is different in them. I don't like talk about rights so much, especially human rights, as they always seem to be whatever current opinion seems to deem 'nice to have' (like a 'human right' to internet access). I think natural law is a better approach to get to the bottom of justifiable rules of human interaction. -

"Stealing is wrong" = "everyone has the right to private property"
"Starvation is wrong" = "everyone has the right to food and water"
Et cetera.
