   Benedict XVI has died. Was he a good pope?
   
   All I remember is he was said to have been a member of the Hitler Youth when he was a teenager; but other than that, I don't really know anything about him.

     @Saber Why did he step down? I faintly remember it might have been "health reasons", but no more than that.

     @Rasterman @Saber From what I hear he basically got couped by the commie/pedo faction of the church hierarchy. He was never a politician but he refused to be a puppet and was started to say some shit which was scaring the commie/pedo faction.
     
     Hence why we have Franciscus now.

     @Rasterman Very smart and humble man. Good pope as far as I can tell. He just couldn't tardwrangle all the tards shitting up the hierarchy. He mostly wanted to be a theologian and philosopher.
     
     Dude listened to Mozart on repeat every day and was constantly looking for new classical music recordings to add to his library. He wrote some really cool books about new archeological/sociological finds about the time of Jesus and idioms He used in preaching.
     
     Was friends with both Angela Merkel and Orthodox hierarchy. Tried to get Merkel to stop doing dumb refugee shit. Had he not stepped down, he would have likely fostered better relations among Russia, Ukraine, and Germany and there would be no Jewkraine war today, which is a big part of why the tards acted up and ousted him.
