   The idiot children who just vacated the rental suite left a load of dishes behind. And to think they just had a child of their own. God help them all.

     Over the years Ive had lazy people in the house
     
     The only solution I found without slaping them was
     
     Remove plates, forks, knifes
     Replace Dishwash with Chest freezer
     
     Forcing them to wash up their own stuff DAILY
     as the 'spare' plates/knifes/forks, were boxed away out of reach
     
     4 people in the house
     4 plates
     4 knifes
     4 spoons
     4 forks
     4 Bowls
     4 cups
     
     no extra 'spares'

     limit the amount of stuff that can get dirty
