The idea that conservatives don’t help after you’re “forced to be born” isn’t remotely true. There are tons and tons of women centers and churches that have programs that help women who decide to have children. My sister volunteered for one several times.
And if a woman doesn’t want to be “forced” to have a child, why not stop fucking? Also, the Dobbs decision was because Mississippi wanted at limit at 15 weeks. That’s higher that nearly every EU country (which tend to limit abortions to 8~12 weeks).
Now to be fair, I’m not against eugenics and baby killing. If you want to kill your baby because you don’t want it, have at it. But I hate it when people dress it up as “women’s health” or “forced to have a baby.”
As far as the debt ceiling, I didn’t look at the details. But most spending on programs to help often don’t. De-funding federal student loans means Universities would have to offer competitive rates and can’t milk students for useless educations. Spending money on low incoming housing is usually funding garbage housing. I dunno … I don’t care so long as they just cut a trillion of something. It can be Social Security and Medicare for all I care. All of it will be insolvent when I’m 60 anyway.
