     STOP USING YOUTUBE stop using youtube

     invidious - invidious is an alternative frontend for youtube it can even import your subscriptions

     rss feeds - youtube provides rss feeds for channels look!!! https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel\_id=UCW-HBBzxn7URXPHzWiZTq\_A you can plop this into some rss reader and follow your guys like that without relying on a browser

     yt-dlp - yt-dlp is a feature-rich tool for downloading videos from youtube and other platforms

     hitomi-downloader - hitomi-downloader is a user-friendly interface to a set of scrapers, yt-dlp included

     mpv - mpv can play youtube streams and videos using yt-dlp

     search shortcuts - modern browsers support search engine shortcuts. so you can just put yt kino full album in your navbar and go straight to search results

     redirecting - there exists a number of browser extensions that will redirect you to invidious whenever you click a youtube link. a popular one is libredirect. my favourite is redirector because you can script it yourself
