     @coolboymew@shitposter.club LOL. is the crunchy one now suitably crunchy? The stuff that doesn't separate is like peanut spread. Or some other suspicious language. Also usually has the peanut oil replaced with some other crappy kind.

     @miscbrains Actually the liquid one doesn't have the peanut turned completely into a butter like texture, so for a texture, it's slightly more what I was looking for, but still not quite

     @miscbrains I prefer the unhealthy paste unfortunately. My idea of a "crunchy" version of that was just having bits of the paste/butter that's harder, instead of them just fucking putting whole ass uncrunched peanuts in there

     Hmm yeah thats not really doable without doing some weird Stracciatella nightmare with candied pb swirls or something.

     @coolboymew I ate peanut butter once. It's ok, didn't convince me. I usually buy honey, dulce de leche and quince paste (also dulce de batata, but I'm not sure how to translate that, it's like quince paste but made from sweet potatoes)

     @coolboymew @StaleDonut You know... In America, every supermarket has a peanut butter machine. Shoppers dump peanuts in, place a cup under the spout, press a button, and the machine crunches the peanuts into peanut butter, which then falls into the cup. Kind of like a frozen yogurt machine, if you're more familiar with that. And, that kind of peanut butter has not additives, so it stratifies.

     @union @StaleDonut @coolboymew Interestingly there is this kind of thing at the nearby organic food store, haven't tried it yet as I low key avoid peanut butter, I like it too much so it ends up more directly in my mouth than spread on bread or in cooking.

     @lanodan @union @StaleDonut @coolboymew Here at times organic stores load the butter machine with almonds instead of peanuts. Their customers may think they are too good for peanuts. Personally I think peanuts are more suitable. One other thing, most of these machines are not tuned to crush the peanuts into a consistently fine paste. Eating it, I can feel a certain content of chunks, perhaps up to a 1 mm in size.
