     @Flick I would prefer birds eat the mulberry over my raspberries, strawberries, etc. I have 2 trees that have white berries, and a third smaller tree that has purple but doesn't yield like the white ones.
     
     After we harvest a few jars I will be hacking these things back to give the garden a little more light.

     @thatguyoverthere I’ve never grown them, but I’ve heard that birds are much keener on purple than white, so hopefully your third tree will come into its own in a few years.

     @Flick that may just be because when they eat the purple berries they leave a mess of purple shit behind lol. My dad hated mulberry trees with a passion because birds would shit up the sidewalk.
