Franco is baby’s first fascist if you identify as a Francoist you are a spiritual redditard

@dharmadudebro Francoism is mostly about just wanting to grill, and killing off the Communist revolutionaries who immediately threaten that. Which is an extremely understandable sentiment, but leaves you vulnerable long-term by not really looking at the bigger trends.

Because 1. It shows you hold values that are against the grain but try and obfuscate the opinions and try and grasp at some form of legitimizing them to ZOG
2. It also shows you are brown

@dharmadudebro Realistically Franco did what he could to navigate through the shitfest Spain was mired in, but Francoism isn't really more than a band-aid solution to a far bigger problem.
-
@dharmadudebro The tricky thing about Franco is that he didn't fuck up in any immediate and obvious way like Hitler and Mussolini did, yet his legacy was still pretty swiftly undone. Some smaller problems are pretty straightforward to solve, but the big-picture problems with modernity aren't so easy.

@ArdainianRight @dharmadudebro Yeah, Franco and his supporters provably did not go far enough. They were morally in the right, they won the war, they preserved the peace, and yet Spain is now still being destroyed by the Traitors and Subversives. If Hitler bit off more than he could chew, then Franco got complacent and soft.

@ChristiJunior @dharmadudebro The basic problem in the democratic age of mass media and mass education is that lasting power is defined by your ability to craft the public. Merely chasing them is for losers. Hitler fully embraced this, but his message was tailored to the few rather than the many, and so he ultimately lost due to raw numbers. Conservatism is about accepting and embracing humanity as it is, so it's inherently at odds with the democratic calling. What leftists have built-in is the aspirational element, and as long as you have this strongly enough, you'll be able to tweak the pragmatic stuff until it works. When you're really succeeding you'll be able to win without firing a single shot.

@ChristiJunior @dharmadudebro I think it's pretty obvious that any successful right-wing mass movement can only be oriented around the working and middle classes, as the assorted underclasses are fundamentally incompatible with any belief in health and excellence. Elites are always necessary, but I can't see any way to not get crushed without numbers.
