While liminal spaces are ment to invoke a sense of unease or nostalgia in real humans, it invokes absolute terror in the subhuman. They're so unable to handle being even minorly disconnected from other people in their fully muttified, over-socialized state that the mere implication of an analog world or being alone causes complete horror.

@SpurgAnon suburban areas are nice the lack of people compared to the city is calming and i want to move to a rural area so i can be left alone i don't know why people hate being alone

@MoeBritannica @SpurgAnon I don't see the point of horror like the first example, honestly. I'm sure some people would find the idea of starving to death or walking through an endless maze without rhyme and reason to be "horrifying", but I for sure don't find it as interesting as something more direct with some lore behind it.
What the "Backrooms" fuck up is that they're written by total retards that don't understand the concept of mystery.
