@maxmustermann so how bad it's looking for Ukraine?
-
@coolboymew Horrible. Most of the gorillionth incarnation of the Armed Forces vaporized by a bunch of former prisoners with shovels. Belogrod counter offensive was a total failure and the "based nationalists" turned out to be avid neo nazis.
-
@coolboymew Bozo the clown is avoiding going home to Ukraine. The Russians have free reign in the East. All our shit is gone. That's a second order effect nobody talks about. If At this point, anyone is free to run amok in Europe. The only good news for our bloc is, that Putin probably won't come over and and take everything.
-
@coolboymew @maxmustermann it's all propaganda and fog of war on both ends so we'll see when the dust has settled

@maxmustermann @coolboymew According to Russian talking heads, "the" promised counter-offensive hasn't started yet. It keeps getting postponed. As an evidence they offer the lack of sightings of the newest western armor at the fighting, which is known to be in Ukraine somewhere. As for Belgorod region raid, it was just a minor terror incursion.
-
@union @coolboymew ^ Also it got postponed endlessly, because Ukraine was running out of men and poured everything into Bakhmut. This is also where the artillery fire on Donetsk came from according to the Russians.
-
@maxmustermann @coolboymew Well the dire lack of men may be true to an extent. The stupidly open communications by Ukrainian soldiers claim that all of the 9 strike reserve brigades are heavily under-compliment. Instead of 5,000..8,000, each has 2,500..3,000 on strength. But even so we're looking at close to 30,000 men. Such force will not take Belgorod perhaps, but it can make a serious mess out of Russian defense in Zaporozhie sector. We're going to see the endlessly postponed offensive yet, I think.
