   @daeken @aeva because there's money to be made if you can replace humans. Even if it's pretty infeasible; but they're more selling the illusion that they can to investors and whatnot.

     I think it's telling that all of the contemporary AI research is like, building digital scabs, and not just making cool stuff that we can't already easily do with human workers.

     Remember that google ai thing where using the power of ai they could turn any image into a writhing fractal mass of recursive psychedelic nightmare pugs? I wonder if we can, like, make that a post processing pass now in a real time renderer so you can have a monster or something that's a writhing fractal mass of recursive psychedelic nightmare pugs. This is literally the only thing I want from the AI graphics researchers.
