     @ArdainianRight @William_The_Dragonborn @LTJG_Pliskin No movie or TV show has made me even half as emotional as Chapter 5 in Xenoblade 3. Certain scenes in Xenoblade 2 and 13 Sentinels also messed me up way more than any movie. Movies especially are really overrated in terms of storytelling, they're generally either cliched and predictable, or straight up bad and subversive.

     @ChristiJunior @LTJG_Pliskin @William_The_Dragonborn Movies feel like they peaked a while back, games still have unexplored potential. Also American pop culture is a husk of what it once was, while Japan still has some value.

     @ArdainianRight @LTJG_Pliskin @ChristiJunior @William_The_Dragonborn Yeah, it happened some time in the 80s (at least in the US). The western AAA game scene is barely alive at this point too, being mostly popped up by the occasional gem out of European studios.
