     @Flick I'm pretty sure it just wasn't draining right. Near the bottom the soil was from last year and it had some leaves and stuff that might have been blocking it. I dumped everything and added my own mixture. The roots were mostly gone so I have it back in the garden area trying to see if it will come back. This morning it looked like it may have formed a new flower so hopefully it's on the mend and I can put it back out front soon. The stairs are a bit unbalanced without it.
