     @sjw it's indeed great. Using it for privacy but using a single service for that is bound to create problems, like I had today. Really didn't want to add 1.1.1.1 but I had no choice because nothing would load otherwise

     @coolboymew same I’d like to add a backup network to my DNS but I’d really prefer privacy focused as well as support for DoT so my ISP can’t collect that data on me.

     Looks like there’s Quad 101 and Bladns.

     I think I’ll add Quad 101 as a secondary. Might even add both.

     Looks like mullvad offer no logging DNS

     I'll probably use that.

     @sjw I need an ipv4 that's the problem
     
     I basically have a rogue provider wifi box that won't let me edit shit properly so I have to set my shit to manual and I'm somewhat unsure of the IPv6 config for that and the mullvad stuff when pinged gives me a v6 only and uhhh

     @sjw my external IP is v6, but I don't know how to handle that internally as I had to disable v6 because I really wanted to avoid using the fucking ISP DNS

     @coolboymew generally if you have IPv6 then IPv6 is preferred which is why you're pinging IPv6
