     @ArcadeOutpost @coolboymew That's probably going to be the issue with this thing if it doesn't play copied CDs and/or have some way to access roms on some kind of storage media (like sd/micro sd) etc. is that the last CDs and hucards made for this are from 25-35 years ago. Unless they and/or the original publishers are just going to be creating new cards or discs and selling them anyway. Not like the original publishers of virtually any of these games even make much money off them anymore. The most popular game (Rondo of Blood) is usually sold as part of some kind of compilation.

     @gucciloafers @ArcadeOutpost 100% it will play CD backups. The original did (burners were not common at the time, nor cheap) and they'd have to put DRM that the CDs doesn't have. Too much efforts
     
     It will probably play everything off the sd card too as usual, but you might have to wait a bit
