   It's kind of insane how pervasive the marketing campaign for the Beyond Meat shit was just a few years ago. Even my family tried to get me to try it and they knew I hate fast food.

     @weaf Covid was such great timing for that too. About as rigorous a stress test you could have. Given the choice between fake meat and no meat, even stupid fat americans said "Nah, I'll pass" and let that shit rot on the shelf.
     
     Thats gotta tell them something, the ol' "give em one shitty alternative" play isn't gonna work here. That means that unless they give up and let the plebs have their beef the amerishart will either meekly accept a fully corn-based future diet (not out of the realm of possibility, especially as the squat population increases,) or burn the system down for their burgers.
