They see all these issues and problems in russia, capable of analyzing it from top to bottom and extrapolate the next 50 years for the country……then talk about how america is just mismanaged by chinese-owned politicians but STILL free and amazing and the home of the smartest most talented people from all over the world.
They think the USA has unlimited arms to send, constantly saying russia will run out of tanks before biden runs out of missiles. They think that all the “innovators” (don’t exist anymore in the west, aren’t allowed to, and are generally integrated into structures in the east) will all flee to america because poootler is just a crazy mad man.
It’s just bizarre, they’re talking about the NATO hordes as if it’s 1985 still, most likely because that’s where they are in their mind. I”m kinda venting because these are the kinds of guys I work with and I’m constantly like a stressed out dog trying to dig under the fence when they tell me about Russian demographics and replacement rates only to balk when I ask why they aren’t worried about our own.
