Get around it by using
Risc V
AMD
Some older Intel CPUS that can DISABLE IME
Also Intel Based Chromebooks dont have IME

(Emphasis mine) Unless he means specifically pre-2013 AMD chips then, no, it isn’t “getting around” the hardware backdoors the industry has been shoving down throats.
