     I think that the promotion of “getting out there” is infinitely better than “anyone doing anything ever is a federal agent.” That’s just my default position.

     @gol_d_berg @Owl @Evil_Bender @matty PF at the moment are doing what right wing activists should do. Ditch the Nazi aesthetic, be organized, not cause disturbance, and help out the community.

     If they are Feds, wouldn’t they push for more extremist action? Other than them covering their faces and having minor scuffles with Antifa, there isn’t anything to call them out for.

     Exactly. Four things about this “fed” thing.

     Only a fed would have any particular advantage in making you think that the federal government is everywhere, at any time, no matter what, to keep you paralyzed from fear. Fed-jacketing is the worst damned thing that’s happened to right-wing organization. The worst.

     The federal government is actually dangerous and that can’t be lied about or sugarcoated, but this lie that they’re everywhere isn’t true. If you have sense, you have the ability to discern what is and what is not a good decision. As long as you keep your nose clean and don’t do anything fucking stupid, if feds actually are in your vicinity then they cannot wield power over you. Of course, there’s always “buh but they can plant stuff on you!” Which then brings me to:

     If a fed is not the one doing this, it is a useful idiot helping keep his supposed people corralled in a state of fear of the government, essentially helping them do their job for them. Someone who is trying to stop you from organizing by keeping a permeating sense of fear prevalent in your politics. Someone who has learned to be helpless and love their helplessness, justifying it by being afraid and worrying about the strangest of what-ifs to maintain their personal security, which makes them cowards.

     If it is not a useful idiot, it is a lazy person and this person is just more than content to sit online and post memes and be a huge retard on the Internet all day. Completely ineffectual and will be of no major usage to anyone and will ultimately risk zero skin in the game as things unfold.

     Number four, just foster connections in your community and build up trust. Know what you can say and around who, know who you could probably nudge in the right direction, and this will generally help build up a sort of “immune system” to any would-be bullshit or fuckery from the feds.

     But nothing is ever going to happen if people just don’t get over this toxic fear and paranoia. We all know people who would be receptive to this particular message, we know them well enough to know they’re not feds. Just get out and talk to them, hang out, build community organization starting out with just a couple of friends.

     moving people towards that tipping point is still legal. suddenly, one day, they just don't care about being called a racist, and are confident that their support network is stronger than the consequences of the scarlet R. it's not even wild to imagine because everyone else is already doing it
