   on Mobius all the animals are anthropomorphic, so I guess when Robotnik says he is going to eat Sonic, he is a cannibal. But then, Sonic eats chili dogs, and they also had ham, so apparently everybody eats pigs, so I guess everyone is a cannibal on Mobius? Mobius has systemic inequality where some people eat other people.

     @Moon In Mobian culture, eating the flesh of others is way to assert dominance. Every chili dog Sonic consumes tells other how high up the totem pole he is. There is no love on Mobius. Only the cold triumph of standing on the still warm corpse of the weak.

     @Moon @Hyolobrika When discussing Sonic Lore, it's important to clarify which continuity we're talking about: the video games, the 1993 "Sonic the Hedgehog" cartoon, the 1999 "Sonic Underground" cartoon that takes place in a separate continuity, 2003's "Sonic X" produced in cooperation with Sonic Team, or the more recent 2014 "Sonic Boom".

     Although it's worth mentioning that the "Shatterverse" concept introduced in 2022's "Sonic Prime" means that it's technically possible for all the previously listed continuities to coexist in a single multiverse, though that's arguably a form of retcon.

     @Hyolobrika @japananon in the game there's little animals but it's not clear if they talk. but in the cartoon they all seem to be anthropomorphic.

     @Moon @Hyolobrika I believe he voiced everything up to Sonic Underground. Also apparently he was Steve Urkel... man, I had no idea.
