   One of these pots of pansies is dying and I'm not sure why. Same feeding, same soil, same sun, same everything. The one that's looking great was even knocked down the stairs before it was repotted and it has recovered

     @Flick they are the same pot but yes this is something I was considering. I noticed yesterday when I watered it was taking a bit to drain.

     @thatguyoverthere Might be worth carefully tipping out the sad ones and checking the drainage holes: it likely won’t make things worse, if there’s a decent football to hold it together.

     @Flick so just checked the drainage from outside and there doesn't seem to be any blockage. The hole is large enough for my finger to fit and I was able to push the soil without much trouble. I started messing with the stems and found several that pulled away eithout much pressure so the roots are definitely deteriorated. I may need to actually uproot it and see what's going on in the middle that could be causing it to block up.
