     @ehhh @SnugSmug Protagonist became the template for "generic Isekai" protagonist that has plagued Japanese light novels, manga, and anime.

     @ehhh @SnugSmug the anime's writing is terrible particularly of characters and specially of antagonists. i dont think anyone would care but it got inexplicably really popular with normies so it got plastered everywhere. my best guess is that its alright visually and thats enough for them.
