@KitlerIs6 @marine @KiKi88 @bot @jeffcliff for reasons unknown, sjw haa disabled searching through baest without an account. perhaps this is the work of the fediverse council of evil?

@colonelj @marine @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff That's default pleromer behavior, it only searches through local posts without authentication.

@colonelj @marine @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff Maybe he changed the config, by default limit_to_local_content is set to :unauthenticated.
-
@mint @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff @marine I know Crunk brought kfcc back with a same or similar version of pleroma baest uses and searches didn't require logins
-
@mint @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff @marine that would be odd for Crunk to do since almost everyone wants Crunk to have kf.cc disrespect deletion requests like fse and baest so but they won't for some reason
-
@colonelj @marine @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff Delete rejection requires custom MRF (you can make do with SimplePolicy, but them deletion of local posts gets broken as well), which in turn requires AGPL compliance (though he's hands-off with that, he made a patch for CORS policies or something and decided not to share it), while changing configs can be done between restarts, like when he disabled shoutbox for a while.

@mint @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff @marine spc doesn't require a login to search. are you sure it's the default and that Crunk and moon both decided to turn it off? also, why does spc quarantine your node?

@colonelj @marine @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff The default is being able to search only local posts without an account, which isn't that much useful in the context of you trying to find remote posts, so I assumed you were talking about that. Looks like baest disabled the search completely, so my bad. You can still go to bae.st/search, but any query returns 404 with a custom image response, so it might not even be Pleroma behavior (I think it should return either 200 with empty JSON or 403, returning 404 on API query with non-static replies is retarded).

@colonelj @marine @KiKi88 @KitlerIs6 @bot @jeffcliff As for quarantine, Moony got spooked by my policy that converts followers-only posts to public scope.
