If it were UFC I’d get it, but boxing is way too often three minutes of action stretched over a 3 hour event

See, every time I start thinking about how to put on a good show I run right up against all the faggot rules they jam in to make it boxing. Boxing sucks ass for the audience. We don’t care about these obese, walking ham hocks’ lasting health, we don’t care about their careers, we wanna see them coked up into a frothing, bubbly fury to let out all their frustrations on each other like a pair of captive wolverines on meth.
But nope, the International Association of Faggot Boxing is there to make sure they pass drug tests and don’t do anything fun, interesting, or dramatic during the fight. How fun for us.

@NotImportant @MachineMadeDog That’s what boxing CAN be, but how often IS it? Everyone wants a real nice, exciting match but it seems like every time there’s something big enough to hit my radar it’s so underwhelming it’s forgotten about in the span of a week.
It’s just low-yield in terms of the time & money (assuming someone is dumb enough to actually pay for it), there isn’t a reliable payout for your investment. Maybe you luck out and get a 17 minute thrill ride….but you’ll probably end up with a middling 6 minutes that’s decided by the judges
