Rare unironically based Poland

@CatLord @Eichenlaub @GoodBoyUV This is now a "talk historical things inspired videogame alt history" thread.
What would it have taken for Germany and Poland to reach an agreement that would have satisfied both sides in the build up to WWII?
Danzig for Slovakia was a real thing but the Poles correctly saw it as a very lopsided deal, giving up their only seaport for some mountains and Polish-German relations were already pretty piss poor in no small part due to the Polish persecution complex we still see to this day.

@Deplorable_Degenerate @CatLord @Eichenlaub @GoodBoyUV It's the resolving of the Polish question is what it fundamentally is. Who gets to maintain control over the land that the Poles inhabit: the Germans, Poles or Russians?
Poland can't exist with much certainty with a strong Germany and Russia on both sides of it. So if a friendship with Germany was to be desired it would most definitely be at the USSR's expense (ie most of Ruthenia and probably Lithuania) and its dismantlement and possible removal of it western extremities.
Danzig is something that could be transferred after a Soviet defeat and transfer of territory to Poland.

@CatLord @GoodBoyUV Revanchism isn't inherently wrong, though it depends on the circumstances.
If Poland is mad about parts of it becoming Ukraine and Belarus it should be on Russia's side and partition the shit out of them. But then questions like "who should really own Danzig" might come up again.

@Deplorable_Degenerate @CatLord @GoodBoyUV Partition Ukraine between Russia and Poland, and then give Germany back its land that Poland holds.
What do you mean that’s a retarded idea? It works in a video game!

@Eichenlaub @Deplorable_Degenerate @GoodBoyUV unironically

@GoodBoyUV It's not based if it's not done for based reasons. It's just Polish revanchism and gay current day Polish ZOGism. I WILL poo on the parade.

@wgiwf @Deplorable_Degenerate @Eichenlaub @GoodBoyUV Friendship with Germany/Poland was attempted by Hitler but the Polish goverment was completely intractable. That's why I don't think it was possible (reasonably speaking) for Germany/Hitler to deal peacefully with Poland.
