     @Leyonhjelm @PhenomX6 I haven't seen a tranny go on and on about how a platform is unusable without quote tweeting. Journos are Boomer tier in terms of tech savviness, whereas trannies at least have enough autism to keep them from going that low. Journos have literally no redeeming features, they're the absolute bottom of the bottom of the barrel. Trannies aren't much better, though.

     There's enough overlap that I've seen it out of trannies who claim to be journalists or who suck up to negroes. Apparently swarthy Twitter invaders are too cowardly to make a normal reply to things.

     Maybe but the thing is, outside of the journalists I see more whining about you asking for such a feature, especially on the Mastodon side.
     
     The other journalist behavior I notice is that Twitter blue checks and having a important sounding job gave them a severe case of unwarranted self importance. It's very common for them to not know their place or status because Twitter gave them special privileges and status.

     Since this post is getting talked about, I should add another thing. It's not just NYT journalists and the like whining about the fedi, but also everyone who either had their claws in Twitter, from grifters allowed to keep their accounts to "security researchers" using Twitter to crawl for dox.
     
     Case in point; a notorious hit piece a while back that got everything wrong and claimed The Mastodon Network (tm) is for pedophiles:

     This post wound up getting traction from the "liberal slayers" of all people, as they advertised their dead Gab/Minds/Truth Social/similar dead site accounts.

     Remember that none of them care that the people on the network don't want this content, but instead are trying to "hide it" (despite reports being filed to authorities and instance owners).
