   they're making a Beetlejuice 2 and it gonna be released in 2024. Beetlejuice was really fun. I don't have strong defensive feelings about it as a work of art. But there is no way a sequel 36 years later is going to be good and I am in the "adding garbage to it actually does damage my appreciation of the old material" camp.
