@alex Any idea how fedi-block-api works? It seems to be seeing from all of my vanity domains I tied to hijacked.download that I've blocked other instances, but how is it figuring out the domains when everything was setup under the initial instance?

@alex @flappypaddle There's a separate script that parses an arbitrary peerlist and gets the type of software used from nodeinfos of listed instances.

@flappypaddle No clue, but @mint does

@flappypaddle @alex Eh, not really. People stick mirrors and non-functioning domains in their lists all the time, haven't caused much trouble yet.

Thanks. All of my non hijacked.download TLDs are just vanities I stuck on the same back end before I discovered it was going to be a pain to do anything with them if anyone signed up under different instances. Obviously due to SNI you can't just test by IP, but now I'm wondering if I'm the only one causing you unnecessary overhead.

Thanks. I appreciate fba because it really helps to root out those who just wish to stifle others from actual bad actors.
