   In the end, it was easier to transfer my payments to my other bank and close my account than to get n26 to understand that some Irish addresses have house names, not house numbers.

     @aral The other thing is, couldn’t you have introduced a bogus house number next to the name, or would that become undeliverable? I had a similar problem with a bank and address incompetence & adding an extra address line worked for me as a strange hack.

     @aral I’m surprised you would use #n26 since they are a FATCA bank (thus they are happy to do a bit of extra info sharing). Anyway, reason for chiming in: couldn’t you have provided a ukpostbox.com address to get around their address incompetence whilst also getting a bit of privacy?
