   @notroot The tolerance vs. intolerance dichotomy was always BS and about smuggling in a different values system and norms of what's acceptable vs. obscene or heretical to people who otherwise wouldn't have gone for it. Being tolerant of everything except "intolerance" is a fancy way of saying the wicked and perverse are good and acceptable, and normal people who conduct themselves according to traditional standards of right and wrong are actually the bad guys who must be run out of society, because they condemn the wickedness and perversion of the former and are therefore "intolerant." They wouldn't be able to win outright by saying that they view evil as good and good as evil, so they wheel out the "tolerance" shell game.
