@PhenomX6 He's on this very network, I can tell.

At this point it doesn't really matter to me... the unfortunate crux of working in technology is having to network with these idiots and play a friendly face with those I absolutely despise and may even desire to visit violence upon them. (groomers, etc)
I more or less stopped caring about video games or any type of content outside of the esoteric information hoarding I do in the off time. Nothing is really "fun" about it anymore.
the other side of this problem is it is not restricted to tech - it's actually everywhere and where it's not, it's gradually trying to slip in. They basically took the country I once loved and made everything gay, weak and stupid.

The thing with trying to work with these "people" is twofold: the good thing is it doesn't take much for them to spill which side they're on. They might put on a mask of being apolitical, but the minute something like an election or the weekly "trans rights" chanting session comes up they quickly let their true allegiances show visibly.
The bad thing is, those people are the worst to work with (and moreso professionally). To explain why, a good metaphor would be something I read about Islam where if a few people out of a community were "radical islam"/terrorists, many more would be supporting them in the sense they'd feed the terrorists information they needed to carry out attacks on someone, or staying silent when they saw something that would obviously lead to a terror attack on infidels.
Let's say you have a chat group with many of the people being NPR listening liberals, where it's the cool fashionable thing on Twitter so they're into it. But then there's a handful of troons, the diehard internet addicts who are balls deep into what the latest drama is. They also happen to be vocal members of the group even if they are never on topic.
Now let's just say that you've been convicted of internet crimes by the troon cabal. They won't just ban you or convince the chat owners to, they will make a scene about it to the chat owners, air out your dirty laundry, DM it to people you know, and make sure to spread it far and wide to other people that you're problematic, and you'll have to deal with even people you think are friends asking you about your perceived internet crimes years later. You might even get a FBI agent visit or SWATted if you piss one off hard enough. Other people will comply, either out of their own free will or because they think it'll make the harassing DMs go away.
Or you stupidly decide to say that kids shouldn't be forcefed drugs in a chat. Get that ass banned that's problematic dude. To troons, that's like telling a redditor the shot doesn't work/has major issues.
Once you deal with enough of these people, you will not only no longer support them but you'll cheer when another state restricts HRT and laugh in their face when they mope about having to order Brazilian Troonshine.

I hate Linux because of the community.

You know how I spot them very early on? When they want to be part of the "cool kidz" group but all they do is cause problems.
They also have a tendency of speaking about relatives you don't/can't know using their first name ie:
- Joanna and I went to this place.
- John and I are like father and son.
Who the fuck is Joanna? Who the fuck is John?
A normal person says: My wife and I, and a normal person won't marry a woman with children.

@PalePimp @pyrate I never knew people that closely to see that behavior. This is coming from online/discord group behavior, where you see lots of "tourist" behavior instead.
