     @tml @neil @liw If I administer your computer, it'll run Linux, and I'll tailor it to your needs and preferences by choosing and configuring a suitable DE.

     One such person doesn't know he runs Linux, or what Linux is, or what a browser is. He just knows he can use his computer for home banking and that there's still money in his account.

     The less people know about computers, the more dangerous it is to give them #MicrosoftWindows.

     @neil @liw I doubt anybody claims it is not possible to use Linux on the desktop. The question is who wants to use it, except fans and their families.

     @neil @liw With how good the desktop experience has gotten on Linux (KDE Plasma still amazes me at how nice it is), there’s little substance behind any arguments against it.

     Every year that goes by Linux gets better and better. That’s the big difference between an open operating system and a closed one.

     Open technologies benefit everyone!
