   @brennen Regarding the AI hype, the one which holds my attention is the NeRF research. I'm excited to see what people accomplish with that!

   Give it some input images with positioning info & it'll generate a richly lit 4D (including time) scenes you composite together with others, and move a virtual camera through. Progressed a lot in just 2 years!

   I'm excited to see what people create with this!

     some things i've enjoyed or appreciated in the last year:

     https://github.com/junegunn/fzf — fuzzy finder that takes lines of input and lets you select 1 or more. comes with shell & vim integration. sounds trivial, turns out to be a beautiful general purpose build-your-own-UI toolkit.

     https://sqlitebrowser.org/ — friendly little gui shell for a db format that lives everywhere.

     https://github.com/dense-analysis/ale - async linting in vim. instant feedback on syntax errors etc.
