   @remixtures Everyone will use Bluesky once it's open to the public. One thing that influencers and elitist snobs like is having status symbols that the peasants can't have. That use to be the blue checkmark before Elon screwed it all up. Bluesky's use of DNS records will make it trivial for them to receive the same special status they've grown accustomed to
   
   Setting up a Mastodon instance to achieve the same thing is just way too cumbersome
