   With the weather warming up, the freelance prostitutes in Tokyo are out in force, many of them underage.
   Several people saying this is the worst they've ever seen it, others saying that the number hasn't been this numerous since post-war era. Many comparing it to a third-world country.
   Of course, local government can put a stop to this at any time.

     @D-Droid People's income is really low, even after the government stepped in and bumped everyone's earnings up a little.
     If you're not working in an office, you're lucky to see more than minimum wage which is roughly $7/h.

     @Remi A guy at work was showing me this bizarre scene where people just gawk at street whores like they’re wildlife. They’ll drive around and show how the streets look after dark, showing off just how nasty the nightlife looks IRL.

     Probably meant for reddit types who never go outside
