So, having explored in the timeline some days ago the question of the #coronation coverage & the Q. of BBC 'impartiality' (suggestions for balance included the coverage helmed by Nicholas Witchell and Frankie Boyle)... not only is the BBC not providing a Republican balance in news coverage of the event its allowing the #RoyalFamily to veto coverage as they see fit... not so much news broadcast as royalist propaganda then (not that I expected any different)

They replied that they make decisions which reflect the role BBC plays as the national broadcaster, during moments of national significance.
This gives very different slant on what impartiality really means to the BBC.
