     Maybe the Vulkans have a starving human fund like we do with Africans. Humans view it all as post scarcity, because they lost all sight on how to function by themselves economically. Panda style breeding programs trying to save the human race. Human affirmitive action captains that do not know how or why their ships work.

     @jmw150 @WashedOutGundamPilot Star trek is the nerds power fantasy. Where instead of being like a guy who is strong and awesome and the man they all want a future where basically all the kids in high school who called them fag and nerd and gave them swirlies have to listen to them cause they are the most logical and the captain.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Could just be only the winners, with their priorities in order, carried on their genes. Large population regression at first. But, any "post scarcity" society would not be possible with aimless overpopulation policies, which forces the opposite to happen.
