     The wii IR bar is dumb, internally it is just 4 IR LEDs on a package, the actual sensors are on the wiimote, you can even get the wiimote working with 2 candles instead of light bar.

     Want to know something else fun? The CMOS image sensors used in cell phone pick up IR light. Unless the phone maker puts an IR filter on the camera, you can see the lights on the Wii bar if you look at it thru your phone.

     @EdBoatConnoisseur @teknomunk I also want to do the pass through for the wiimote but the Bluetooth receiver I ordered that's compatible is on backorder. I'm not in a huge hurry to play red steel 2 though so that's fine. The pointer and motions work great on trauma center even through the default Bluetooth I have.
