   Just got reminded that submitting an HTML form with checkboxes via POST only submits `checkBoxName='on'` for checkboxes that are checked and… *checks notes* **nothing at all** for checkboxes that are not.

   So that’s fun.

     @aral Yup. You can add a hidden input before the checkbox with the same name and the off value. The checkbox value will replace this one when set, but that way you always get a value submitted.
